Yan Gege (焱格格) is a vegetarian restaurant in Jing’an, Shanghai, located within the 800 Show complex, offering a unique Chinese vegetarian menu with Southeast Asian and Western influences. The establishment has transitioned from its previous all-you-can-eat hotpot format to an à la carte menu; however, its signature hotpot bases are preserved as individual claypot dishes. These include their signature Yunnan wild mushroom hotpot, truffled tofu, a spicy Sichuan base with mushrooms and tofu, as well as Bak Kut Teh and Tom Yum options.

The menu primarily features Chinese vegetarian cuisine, with popular dishes such as kaofu (braised wheat gluten), an assortment of grilled and stir-fried mushrooms, Taiwanese-style eggplants, and a sizzling claypot of braised tofu. Dishes that extend beyond Chinese cuisine include Southeast Asian options like mango sticky rice and Western items such as a tomato and basil pasta.
