+PINK, an extension of the Saigon Mama brand, is a vibrant Vietnamese restaurant designed to expand beyond pho and banh mi, showcasing a broader range of traditional dishes.

With neon pink accents and a fresh, modern vibe, the restaurant has been picking up since its debut earlier this summer. There are currently two locations, One ITC in Xuhui and K11.
The Food
The standout dish is the Beef Rib Curry. A whole beef rib served in a rich, spicy, creamy curry that’s nutty and aromatic. The depth of flavor is impressive, so much so that we found ourselves wishing for more of the curry — though the portion was sufficient.

The meat itself is tender and well-seasoned, but the bone is mostly ornamental, as most of the meat has already been carved and stewed with the curry. It’s an indulgent and flavorful dish.
Their Flaming Beef Pho offers a twist on the classic. Thinly sliced beef is quickly wok-fried to give it a smoky wok-hei aroma, while the broth is rich and beefy. It’s a solid and satisfying bowl of pho, simple yet effective in delivering those comforting flavors.

For something a little more interactive, the Bun Cha (Vietnamese vermicelli dipping noodles) comes with a variety of combinations including fish, chicken, cuttlefish, beef, and traditional BBQ pork patties.
The Mixed BBQ Pork Patty Vermicelli is a generous portion with spring rolls, pork patties, and grilled pork slices. The patties have a smoky char, and the dipping sauce — made with fish sauce, water, and seasonings — is wonderfully addictive.

It’s one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, and +PINK does it well, offering a fun mix of textures and flavors. The pink noodles are house-made, naturally tinted with red dragonfruit. Though, you don’t get the taste of the fruit.
For a light snack, the Vietnamese Spring Rolls are a solid choice, which are available a la carte. They also do skewers, sold in pairs, from ¥18 for mushroom to ¥38 for lemongrass beef.

When it comes to drinks, +PINK keeps things interesting with options like the Dirty Avocado Coffee Smoothie, a thick and rich blend that’s more like a meal in a glass. It’s a bit mild flavor-wise, but if you’re a fan of avocado in your coffee, it’s a must-try. There’s also the Smash Lime Coconut Milk, a refreshing and tangy option.

For dessert, the Vietnam Coconut Jelly Pudding is served in a whole coconut, featuring a light and refreshing jelly made with coconut milk and a touch of coconut cream. It’s deceptively easy to share, despite its size.

In Summary
+PINK is a solid spot for those looking to enjoy a variety of Vietnamese flavors with a modern twist, all in a casual, vibrant setting. The value is solid, with generous portions and interesting combinations that keep things fresh. Also available via delivery.
