Pony Up is a cocktail by operator-bartender Dre Yang, the former head bartender of The Odd Couple. It’s a homey space with high tables up front, a handful of booth seats, a cozy bar, and lounge seating at back. Interiors are minimalist and stylish with wood and dark leather, and a pop of color with its namesake mural. Cocktails are solid, technical in the making but simple in presentation. Twists on classic cocktails and some fun renditions. They also do food, bar snacks on steroids, like corndogs, patty melts, and nachos doused in cheesy beef sauce. The vibe is great, usually a local crowd and acquaintances of Dre.
