Villa Le Bec – Bistro 321 Le Bec

Category

Villa Le Bec, also known as Bistro 321 Le Bec, is a French restaurant by acclaimed chef Nicolas Le Bec. It is one of Shanghai’s most beloved dining institutions. The restaurant is housed in a century-old colonial style villa, a gorgeous property that still retains its historical design, including original tiles and wooden banisters. The space is impressive with a lane house lofted bistro, elegant dining hall, themed chalets, and a garden terrace with outdoor seating.

On the menu are refined versions of classic French dishes, and most are served as large, hearty portions, all made to impress. The menu has largely remained the same since it opened in 2014, and signature dishes like the Pate en Croute, Truffle Pasta, Foie Gras Terrine, Cote de Boeuf, Beef Tartare, and Bavette au Poivre are still considered must-orders to this day. The lemon tart is also to die for. It’s a splurge-worthy restaurant, especially for celebrations, anniversaries (weddings too), and birthdays. It’s absolutely fantastic and has been since it opened.

Multiple private rooms, including one for up to 10 inside the wine cellar.
