Yuangu Yunjing (元古雲境) is a creative Chinese restaurant popular for its beautiful design aesthetic, afternoon tea, and modern cuisine that won’t break the bank. The food is excellent, as is the service.

It was founded in Beijing in 2016, where it started as a tea and dessert house. Today, it’s a pretty big company with multiple locations in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Hangzhou. The food is contemporary Chinese, which cleverly combines Chinese and Western techniques. It’s more creative and inventive than it is fusion.
