RAW Eatery & Wood Grill is a Shanghai institution for josper-fired steaks and seafood. It was founded in 2016 by chef Juan Campos. It’s a small-ish cozy space with tables tightly packed together. When the restaurant is in full swing, the energy is electrifying, filled with lively conversations and the clinking of glasses. It’s often referred to as a Spanish steakhouse. The steaks are the main attraction, but so are dishes of seafood, roasted suckling goat, beef tartare, lobster ceviche, and more.
