Smokin’ Hog

Smokin’ Hog is an American-style barbecue restaurant in Shanghai that serves up excellent smoked brisket, ribs, sandwiches, and tacos. Husband and wife team Nacho and Karina started Smokin’ Hog as a passion project, entertaining house guests and cooking for close friends back in 2022. They opened a ghost kitchen, then their their first brick-and-mortar. The signatures here are the smoked meats, but they also do excellent burgers and fantastic Mexican-inspired tacos. Brunch is popular, featuring breakfast platters that’ll have you rolling out the door with a grin on your face. Primarily a restaurant, but tends to have a bar-vibe, too.
