New in Found 158 is 满MANIA, an underground (both literally and figuratively), edgy, LA-style nightclub with a focus on hip-hop, trap, and dubstep. It’s from the BIBIMI Group, the same restaurant group that brought you Bites & Brews, Barbarian, Hot Chick, Solana, and Nomad.

满MANIA is all about challenging the dance club norm. Their overtly high-energy music program inevitably devolves into industrial oasis club vibes and a funky twist on neighborhood dive bar cocktails. (It’s located in the spaces formerly known as Deus and Blackstone Magic Bar.)
What is 满MANIA?
There are two bars—one circular “daytime” bar in the front, and a long bar by the dance floor to serve the night’s revelry.
The main room is awash with neon light and a massive LED screen hangs over the dance floor. A slick TPI sound system flanks the stage. Red and black is the theme—leather couches and low lounge tables outline the concrete dance floor. Clearly industrial warehouse vibes.
The space can fit 250 people inside, with ample room to spill out into Found. Drop a few extra maos, and you’ll find yourself at the VIP table, a raised upper deck overlooking the entire venue.
There was a tree located in the middle of the room—it has now been replaced by merry-go-round/carousel.
Drinks: Embracing The Classics
Think neighborhood dive bar meets classic cocktail convenience when it comes to 满MANIA’s drink program. Designed by Ana Souza (formerly 1515 WEST, Jing An Shangri-La and Hong Kong’s The Pontiac), every libation arrives with its own trendy twist.
From pickleback shots (using sweet pickle juice made from Nomad’s cucumber, pepper, and carrots pickled side dish) to cutesy Korean-inspired drinks topped with Yakult yogurt. They also have a line-up of frozen cocktails, pouring frozen whiskey sours (¥70), among others.
“It’s all about embracing that cheesy old nightclub cocktail culture and running with it,” says Ana.
Classic cocktails range from ¥50-¥80 (with a few on offer for ¥45 for members that sign up on 满MANIA’s mini app program). Signature cocktails fall in the range of ¥60-¥80. Flavor-of-the-week Jell-O shots are ¥25 each, or ¥18 each for members.
The TukTuk (¥60) is a refreshing hit of kaffir lime-infused Malibu, garnished with spicy red bird-eye chili and lime. It’s reminiscent of late nights indulging in Bangkok’s party scene.
The Mangonada (¥80) is a frozen, alcoholic spin on the famous Mexican dessert of the same name. Featuring puréed mango, a drizzle of tart apricot Chamoy sauce, and sea salt. It’s smoky and booze-forward.
To lubricate social interaction, they also have share-friendly drinks with 3-liter cocktail towers. It’s a club/lounge. It’s not about getting carried away with complex drinks—just easy sipping cocktails that won’t break the bank.
Choose any classic cocktail, like Mojito or Aperol Spritz, and get a serving of 8-10 of them at once. Cocktail towers are ¥330-400 during Happy Hour (4:30pm-8pm, daily), and are ¥450 and up after 8pm.
If you’re hungry, they also share the food from sister restaurant Nomad. Flatbreads, shawarma, hummus, beef tartare, and more. Order and they’ll deliver them over. And they also have brunch sets, ¥88 or ¥128, one selected cocktail and one selected brunch main.
Who’s Going? Music Geek Approved
满MANIA is all about expressing aggression through music yet still fitting into the mainstream underground clubbing scene. Resident DJ/Music Director Alex Baylienz from Los Angeles has live guitar DJ accompaniments, fire flare shows, 3D light shows, and DJ battle nights on the roster—they’re leaning towards bringing new, different, edgy entertainment.
The dance crowd consists of a mix of music nerds that come specifically for the diversified and engaging music programming, and well-off young, creative 30-somethings looking to unload after a long office week. Overall, the fresher crowd is attracted by trap and hip-hop that skews more into dubstep as the liquor continues flowing.
