About theWarehouse

Surpass Court has been a no mans land for quite some years. It was popular once, but since the opening of many new F&B hubs, the sheen of this complex has since faded. If anyone is passing through, it’s to have dinner at popular wine bar Ottimo.

theWarehouse is another destination here that’s worth its salt.

theWarehouse is part cellar, part kitchen, split into two lots on the ground floor, and there’s a bit of outdoor seating, too. The cellar houses wines that you would find at Ottimo—meaning, really high quality, select labels of fine wines—and has a large selection of Burgundy wines, and a handful of new world labels.

A big plus of getting your wines from theWarehouse is that all bottles are sold at retail prices. They also have some wines by the glass, starting from ¥85. To be honest, you might as well get a bottle, which starts at ¥330 a bottle.

The Food — Apero Bites

Further into the complex is the kitchen section of theWarehouse. The food is simple but good, constructed by consulting chef Freddy Raoult (The Nest), who also does the menu at SOiF.

It’s a short menu of easy-going apero foods like canned duck liver mousse, salmon rillettes, pickles, cold cuts, and cheese.
