Nepali Kitchen is a long-standing Nepalese restaurant in Shanghai. It was established in 2001 and is run by native Nepalese owners. The restaurant makes its home in a cozy three-storey lane house and has a ground floor cafe/bar. They do traditional Nepalese cuisine, featuring the iconic vegetarian plate set dal bhat, as well as flavorful curries, grilled meats and fish coated in spices, momos (dumplings), and more. Suitable for those on a vegetarian diet, as they have plenty of plant-based options.
