PuR’aisin is a restaurant and wine bar in Changning serving Yunnan bites alongside natural and organic wines. It’s from the same people behind Purus, also a wine bar that serves Chinese bites. The space is simple, modern, and cozy with additional bar seating and a small outdoor seating area, which is usually quiet.

Their Yunnan-native chef has repackaged classic Yunnan dishes into bite-sized snacks to pair with wine. It’s easy-going, tasty, and inexpensive. It’s a casual dinner place, but most dishes are small. Substantial plates include goose fat rice and whole roasted fish. I do recommend it for a meal — just order a bunch of things. It’s a great “wine with bites” spot.
