Opening in the iconic spot on Yuyuan Lu, formerly home to The Cannery, is JUJU, a Korean barbecue joint that first fired up the grills in 2019 at Three on the Bund. The concept was also created by The Cannery’s Mark Klingspon.

Known for its riotous restaurant-party energy, unlimited BBQ, and free-flow, it was a true grill-and-ganbei affair. JUJU closed in October 2020, a casualty of COVID and changing times on The Bund.
Now it’s coming back.

It’s still unconfirmed whether they’ll revive the original ¥288 all-you-can-eat deal, but it’s likely to be part of special events offers.
One thing’s certain: expect affordable, casual vibes with a heavy dose of street-style swagger, plenty of soju bombs, and live karaoke for a fun-filled atmosphere.

JUJU is eyeing a mid-September opening. Watch this space for details.
