Nasi Lemak Brunch Buffet at Lounge by Topgolf
Singaporean chef Joey Cheong of UMAMIII will be taking over Lounge by Topgolf for a week, and will be cooking up a storm on both Saturdays, April 22 and 29, for a full-blown buffet centered on Nasi Lemak and all its accouterments.
Nasi Lemak, originally from Malaysia and popular in Singapore, is a beloved dish of many components. It is the breakfast of champions! (In my opinion.)
The base of the “dish” is coconut jasmine rice, served with trappings of sambal chili, fried peanuts and anchovies, fresh cucumber, sunny side up eggs, and sometimes achar, a curried pickled vegetable medley.
All of the above will be on the buffet spread, plus fried chicken drumsticks, assam fish (sour-spiced curry), mutta roast (hard-boiled eggs stewed in curry), wing beans with dried shrimp, sambal tofu with long beans, begedil (fried potato patties), a gado gado salad bar, pandan panna cotta, and herbal jelly dessert.
Add-on dishes include Turmeric-Fried Mackerel (¥68), Peanut Sambal Jumbo Prawns (¥98/three pieces), Singapore Curry Chicken (¥88) with potatoes, Deep-Fried Bananas with Ice Cream (¥68).
It’s gonna be a feast!
The buffet also includes one non-alcoholic welcome drink and free minigolf.
In addition, some dishes will be available a la carte, all day from April 23 to 28, namely, Nasi Lemak (¥68) with fried chicken drumstick or assam fish, with add-on options.

The Nasi Lemak brunch buffet will run on both Saturdays, April 22 and 29 from 11:30am to 3pm.
Add on ¥158 for two hours of free-flow house cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks during brunch.
It’s ¥158 per person (early-bird, purchased before April 21) or ¥198 at the door; ¥99 for kids ages 6 to 12, free for kids below 5.
