Matto by Mammamia (Closed)

Matto is a cozy Italian cocktail and wine bar on Yanping Road in Jing’an, located on the second floor above Revolucion Cocktail. The concept is backed by the same team behind Neapolitan pizzeria Mammamia. For snacks, Matto offers an extensive selection of salumeria — basically the A-to-Z of Italian cold cuts available in Shanghai — plus focaccia-style pizzas, among others. Straightforward Italian cocktails and bites.

FYI, “matto” means “crazy” or “mad” in Italian. It’s a playful and fitting name for a bar, and certainly hints at the vibe it’s going for.
