The Shanghai EDITION is in full festive season mode, hosting Christmas and New Year’s Eve lunches and dinners (with free-flow) and a countdown party.

Here are the festive highlights:

Shanghai Tavern

Shanghai Tavern has a number of options for the festive season, starting with a Christmas Eve buffet dinner from 5:30pm to 10pm for ¥988 per person, including free-flow. In addition, Shanghai Tavern will host a live band performing from 6pm to 10pm.

Buffet highlights include freshly shucked oysters, marinated king salmon gravlax, a seafood trolley with Boston lobster, Irish langoustines and poached prawns, carvery of côte de boeuf, M5 wagyu brisket, honey glazed ham, and whole Australian lamb. Leveling up the luxurious experience are the festive trolleys, serving kaluga caviar, iberico ham, and Midwest-style roasted turkey.

In addition, there will also be a salad bar, cold cuts and cheese, freshly baked breads, and additional made-to-order seafood dishes like char-grilled lobster and octopus. Desserts will feature Christmas specials of log cake, chestnut and ginger bread cake, eggnog mousse, macaroons, ginger bread cookies, and more.

Free-flow includes Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV, red and white wines, and sparkling.

On Christmas Day, Shanghai Tavern will be serving a sharing set menu for two for ¥988, available for lunch and dinner on Dec 25, 11:30am-4:30pm, 5:30pm-10pm.

The set includes salmon gravlax, beef tartare, char-grilled octopus, pumpkin velouté, mains of roasted halibut, beef tenderloin, and Midwest style turkey breast, Flaming Alaska dessert, and two glasses of mulled wine or house wine.

For New Year’s Eve, it will be a dinner sharing set menu for two for ¥1,088. The set includes prawn cocktail tart, beef tartare, salmon gravlax, mushroom velouté, char-grilled octopus, Australian wagyu beef sirloin, pumpkin panna cotta, and two glasses of Perrier-Jouët champagne. New Year’s Eve dinner menu is served from 5:30pm to 10pm.

YONE

For Christmas, YONE has a dinner set menu available on Dec 24 and 25; two seatings available from 5:30pm-7:30pm and 8pm-10pm.

The set menu features a quiche with chestnut, truffle, and mirin glaze, caviar and wasabi rice tart, eel and shiso spring rolls, Boston lobster coconut rice salad with mango, rice puff cereal with soy milk curry bisque and botan prawns, sushi of chutoro, wagyu beef, and salmon, black cod, and M8 wagyu beef sirloin sukiyaki.

Dessert includes gingerbread chocolate, caramel chocolate tart, and a special Cacao-Misu from The Sanya EDITION.

The menu is ¥988 per person, including one welcome drink. Elevated options available: ¥2,976 for two people at a seat with a view, plus a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut champagne and two welcome drinks; or ¥5,952 for a set for four people, two bottles of champagne, and four welcome drinks.

YONE also has a festive afternoon tea set for two priced at ¥688, including two drinks of coffee or tea or mocktail; or ¥888 for two cocktails and two coffee or tea.

ROOF

Celebrate in style and with a view! Head to ROOF on the 29th floor to soak in the Shanghai skyline with some premium drinks. Festive packages available on evenings of Dec 24, 25, and 31, and Jan 1.

Packages start from ¥4,888 for four people, which includes two bottles of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Nv, one bottle of Glenlivet 15Y, a pickle box, iberico ham, chicken nuggets, truffle fries, and a fruit bowl.

New Year’s Eve Countdown Party

The Shanghai EDITION will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party in collaboration with SpacePanda — One Night in New York ft. STADIUMX. The event, which kicks off at 9pm, will take place over three different venues, Club Room (hip-hop/R&B), Electric Circus (house/techno), and YONE (disco).

The DJ headliner is Hungarian duo STADIUMX, joined by DJs Cai, Doggy, K.Yuen, Kenneth, Martin Ma, Muun, Penny, and Sail.
