EPIC

EPIC is a long-standing cocktail bar in Shanghai, renowned for its award-winning craft cocktails and vibrant energy. Founded in 2014 by celebrated bartender Cross Yu, this former French Concession staple was once #41 on The World’s 50 Best Bars list in 2021. Its creative menu, presented like a magazine, features 14 signature drinks (¥98-¥108) inspired by Chinese cities, using unique ingredients from across the country. The three-story space includes a ground-floor bar, a cozy second-floor lounge, and a bohemian-inspired top floor lounge with a small terrace. Embodying the motto “Do EPIC Shit!”, the bar channels a high-energy vibe especially on weekends, unique cocktails with great stories, and bar bites like dumplings and fried snacks.
