Bar Leone Shanghai is an Italian classic cocktail bar housed in a two-story space in Sinan Mansions, founded by Lorenzo Antinori and Justin Shun Wah, the minds behind Bar Leone Hong Kong (World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, #1).
The ground floor “Bar di Passo” evokes a polished Italian sports bar with nostalgic memorabilia, serving Leone’s signature cocktails, aperitivo classics, and Spritzes. The upstairs lounge, similar to its Hong Kong outpost, transports guests to a 1970s Italian living room for more intimate conversations. Drinks here are spirit-forward cocktails, highlighting old and rare reserve collections. Representative drinks include The Martini (five gin blend), The Manhattan, and The Godfather, infused with Yunnan black truffles and aged for six months. There’s also an Italian-skewed bar bites menu.
