It’s a semi-buffet brunch dedicated to some of the best eats and drinks that Italy has to offer with an astounding view of the Shanghai skyline. And as always, there’s free-flow drinks.

Panoramic Views of Shanghai
Perched on the 52nd floor, Scena Italian Restaurant boasts sweeping views of the Shanghai skyline from Lujiazui to the Bund and the Huangpu River. It’s an elegant setting, and certainly has one of the best views in town. It’s a destination that is perfect for special occasions.
What’s For Brunch
Chef Natalino Ambra has prepared a sumptuous semi-buffet brunch and some excellent main courses to go along with the spread. This is what to expect:
The semi-buffet features a cold seafood bar of Alaskan king crab, Boston lobster, mussels, prawns, and abalone; plenty of Italian cheese and cold cuts at the Enoteca station, a DIY Caesar Salad station, and eggs Benedict made-to-order with cured salmon and/or ham. There is also Italian-Japanese maki sushi, vitello tonnato, and wagyu croquettes for antipasti.
There’s an entire counter dedicated to carbs! Oven-fired pizzas, and pastas and risotto made a la minute with a selection of sauces, fluffy foccaccia, and buttery puff pastries filled with ham.
In addition to the buffet, it includes one main course from the “Famoso Classico” menu of classic Italian dishes. The star of the main course is undeniably the T-bone M3 Black Angus Fiorentina, a whole steak cooked to perfection, served with herb-roasted baby potatoes and beef jus.
Additionally, there’s a surf and turf option of beef tenderloin and jumbo shrimp, pan-seared scallops, crispy baked cod fish with leek fondue and porto wine sauce, and grilled rack of lamb with black olive sauce and mash.
For dessert, there’s pass around tiramisu and a live station of made-to-order cannoli, salted caramel chocolate cake, puddings, tarts, and a dozen flavors of ice cream.
All-Inclusive & Free-Flow
Vita Nostra is every Sunday from 12:15pm-3pm. Brunch is ¥628 per person, including complimentary mocktails, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. (Deal for Nomfluence readers below!)
Add ¥150 for three hours free-flow, which includes prosecco, red and white wines, beer, cocktails of bellini, Aperol Spritz, negroni and G&Ts, and digestifs. Add an extra ¥200 on top of that and get Perrier Jouët Grand Brut and Rosé and sparkling wine, too.
