The Cathay Room is not a particularly large venue, which makes it an intimate space for Sunday brunch. It also boasts a spacious balcony, which opens up for al fresco dining during the warmer months.

Sunday Brunch For Seafood Lovers
The Sunday brunch is a semi-buffet: one main course plus the smorgasbord of fresh seafood, appetizers and desserts.
The seafood selection is abundant—freshly shucked French oysters, Alaskan king crab legs, razor clams, king prawns, abalone, mussels and other fruits of the sea. There’s also an array of sushi and sashimi, including thick cuts of tuna and salmon, and roe-studded scallops.
Fresh baked loaves of sourdough bread, baguettes and croissants act as vessels for the charcuterie, cheese and foie gras. And there are also salads with jumbo prawns, crispy Beijing duck pancakes with plum sauce, Cantonese-style barbecued pork, and smoked fish, a classic Shanghainese dish of fish drenched in sweet soy sauce and a signature of the hotel’s Chinese restaurant Dragon Phoenix.
Main courses are made to order and include eggs benedict, pan-seared black cod, lamb rack, beef tenderloin, Boston lobster and more.
For dessert, they have a chocolate fountain, soufflé, ice cream, and a kaleidoscope of sweets, cakes and fruit.
Brunch is ¥598 with free-flow soft drinks, juice, local beer and house red and white wine or ¥898 for free-flow Laurent-Perrier Brut champagne and the above drinks.
