Ramen Shichiton (七豚) is ideal if your main objective is to fill up on noodles. I can’t say this with scientific certainty, but the portions here are absolutely massive. Their house special noodles are extra-thick egg noodles, which soak up broth like crazy. They also have medium or thin noodles. There are two locations, operating just a block apart. Because the shops themselves are tiny, soups are made fresh daily at a central kitchen. The signatures are a Jiro-style ramen built on a rich tonkotsu base, topped with cabbage, bean sprouts, raw garlic, and chashu, and the Yokohama Tonkotsu, featuring wood ear mushrooms and wilted pea shoots. First round of additional noodles are on the house.
