Secret Flavor (Pudong)

Secret Flavor is a Malaysian restaurant in Shanghai that does all the country’s greatest hits.  They do an excellent Nasi Lemak and beef rendang — these are the ones to get. Other dishes include curry laksa, stir-fried morning glory, satay, fried noodles, and more.

Update July 2025: The original Xuhui location has closed, relocated to Pudong.
