The Union Trading Company (UTC) is an award-winning cocktail bar in Shanghai, celebrated for pioneering Shanghai’s craft cocktail scene under founder Yao Lu. A four-time consecutive honoree on Asia’s 50 Best Bars, this American-style establishment has maintained a loyal following since opening in 2014. It is currently located on Hengshan Road, originally located on Fenyang Road. The bar focuses on modern craft cocktails with a seasonal emphasis, featuring signature cocktails like the Shanghai Breakfast (a blend of champagne, huangjiu, black sesame, honey, and banana), alongside barrel-aged concoctions and inventive twists on classic drinks.
