Feral Bahn Mi • Started out back in May as a pop-up street cart (totally illegal, totally gangsta) that roamed Shanghai. Now it has found a brick n mortar on Maoming Bei Lu. 🥖 The bread is... THE RIGHT KIND. You usually don’t find this in Shanghai. The bread has an extremely thin, brittle crust, shattering at a bite. And the crumb is soft, airy, and cotton-like — it’s like biting through a hard meringue. To order: Lemongrass chicken & crispy pork belly.
