Aburi-En

Aburi-En (炙苑) is a Japanese yakiniku restaurant inside Pudong Kerry Center. Opened in 2021, it specializes in Rangers Valley wagyu from Australia, grilled at each table over binchotan charcoal. Seating includes communal tables, booths, and private rooms. Set menus start at ¥598 for two; the ¥1,688 one (recommended) features six wagyu cuts plus appetizers, sashimi, and wagyu rice. Each cut of beef gets its own special treatment: scored, sauced, and cooked to optimize its flavor and texture. The crowd leans early with tables clearing by 9pm. Private rooms offer a cozier vibe, recommended.
