The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai will host a Christmas dinner buffet at Portman’s Restaurant on December 24 and 25 from 5:30pm to 10pm.
Celebrate Christmas season with a family-friendly buffet dinner!
The buffet is ¥488 per person, including unlimited soft drinks or ¥588 with free-flow selected alcoholic beverages. Children ages 6-12 years old are ¥244, free for kids five years old and under.
As always, the live carving station takes center stage, offering an array of mouthwatering roasts including perfectly roasted prime rib, golden-brown whole roasted turkey, succulent honey-glazed ham, and juicy roasted lamb rack.
In addition, the carving station will also feature Hong Kong-style roasts of duck, and crispy roasted pork belly.
Key highlights of the spread also include a chilled seafood bar featuring premium prawns and king crab legs, as well as fresh sushi and sashimi. Freshly shucked oysters are also available upon request.
The buffet also features a full salad bar with a vibrant selection of fresh, crisp ingredients. There will also be a variety of steamed dim sum, alongside a tempting array of both hot and cold Western and Chinese dishes.
The festive dessert steals the show with an assortment of Christmas-themed desserts from rich pound cakes and traditional Christmas pudding.

The Gift Shop also has special pastries for the festive season, available until January 2, 2025. Cakes, pastries, and desserts include whole Christmas cakes of Black Forest, Strawberry Milk, and Winter Chestnut Caramel Apple, gingerbread cookies, eclairs, tarts, and even a Galette de Rois (King’s Cake).
