High Yaki The Sea is a seafood-centric Japanese grill restaurant in Xuhui, Shanghai. It is the sister branch of upscale yakitori and yakiniku restaurant High Yaki. Behind the kitchen is Executive Chef Carlos Sotomayor, a Peruvian chef with expertise in Western and Asian cuisine. There are some excellent meat dishes too. Signature dishes include non-traditional sashimi appetizers, snapper tartare, flat lobster with coconut cream, snow crab stone pot rice, uni noodles.
