Laizhou Bar Shanghai

Laizhou Bar is a spacious bar and restaurant on Fumin Lu, operated by Chengdu-based parent company Laizhou Distillery. Cocktails, crafted by bar manager Peter Kwok, highlight Chinese ingredients and utilize the brand’s spirits of Ling-Lie vodka and Jiao-Yu gin. As for the food menu, it’s Sichuan food with a fusion twist. Think traditional bites mixed in with some western influence like century egg risotto and dan dan noodles but with pasta.

The interiors surprise with scale — the place is massive. There’s a terrace out front, a sunlit lounge, a main hall with a long bar and cozy lounge seating, as well as multiple private rooms. Dog-friendly terrace.
