Bund-side gastrolounge The Nest has possibly the most famous oyster deal in Shanghai, one that’s been running (nearly) since it opened. Sometime last year they increased the price on their oyster deal, then lowered it again to the original ¥98 for a dozen.
The design-forward restaurant/bar/lounge prides itself on excellent cocktails and Nordic-inspired food. It may not be on the Bund proper, but their consistency in food, drink, and service maintain their large base of loyal clientele. Who’s going: business entertainment, date nights, and young professionals.
Currently the deal oysters are No. 4 Coffin Bay from Australia. Selected oyster changes based on season and availability.
Oyster Deal

The Cannery always comes up with some excellent deals. This time, the crowd-favorite brunch spot and pet-friendly venue launched an oyster deal to match the one at The Nest! Not only are oysters ¥98 for a dozen, but so are 1kg of steamed clams and pitchers of selected tap beer.

If you’re looking for some of the best oysters in Shanghai, The Plump Oyster has the most diverse selection. The restaurant also serves a menu of western dishes from pastas to tomahawk steaks.
Both locations of The Plump Oyster run a ton of deals on oysters — nearly one for every day of the week. As for which location, I prefer Taikang Terrace, which has terrace seating. Deals require a reservation, so be sure to call ahead. Deals do not apply on celebratory days, such as Valentine’s, Christmas, etc.
