Friday Seafood Buffet at YICAFE

The Seafood Buffet is every Friday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, and will run until January 30, 2026. It’s ¥598 per person, plus ¥128 for four hours of free-flow selected wine and beer. Children ages 6–11 dine for ¥299, and kids five and under eat free.

The headline here is sheer volume: grilled lobster, king crab legs piled on ice, a generous sashimi selection, caviar, and more. And the showstopper? Each Friday kicks off with a whole tuna carving with fresh sashimi sliced on the spot.
10 Live Cooking Stations

YICAFE is easily one of Shanghai’s most diverse hotel buffets, with 10 live cooking stations covering more than a dozen cuisines. So while the Friday seafood spread is the star, you’re also getting a global lineup: Western grill, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Middle Eastern, Malaysian, and more, each station led by chefs who specialize in their craft.
Whole Tuna, Sashimi & Sushi

On Fridays, nearly every station leans into seafood. Your first stop should be the Japanese station, where the freshly carved whole tuna is served as sashimi, along with salmon, sweet shrimp, sushi, and more.
Premium Seafood on Ice

The seafood-on-ice section is a showstopper of its own, featuring whole lobsters, king crab, caviar, salmon roe, and crayfish.

Grilled Seafood

Over at the Western station, it’s seafood on the grill. Choose from whole fish, salmon, tuna, squid, and more to be grilled fresh.

In addition, every guest also gets a baked jumbo-sized green lobster (half portion), which is tender, bouncy, and genuinely fantastic.
There are even more grilled lobster and a whole roasted seabass.
Steak Carvery

The carving station also has slow-roasted beef short rib and tomahawk steaks sliced to order, plus a massive seafood paella.
Hairy Crab, Indian, Middle Eastern & More

Chinese highlights whole roasted suckling pig to seasonal hairy crab, along with hotpot and a DIY noodle bar.

Craving some spice? The Indian station’s butter chicken is legendary. (It’s an all-time YICAFE favorite.) And the Middle Eastern station fires up excellent lamb, beef, and chicken kebabs alongside fragrant pilaf.

Of course, there’s also the dessert bar, featuring chocolate fountains, bite-sized sweet treats, and festive cakes.
Whether it’s a celebration or just a night out, YICAFE’s Friday Seafood Buffet is built for eating well.

YICAFE has a limited number of private rooms. The largest room accommodates up to 12 guests, while the small room is suitable for five people.
